The story or inspiration behind my card is the simple truth that lies within. My Dad use to say "God so loved the world that he sent his only son, so I think that's the least I can do is serve" (the navy). Now, with having one of the boys who lived with us serve and the idea that possibly two of my own joining. This sense of pride is growing strong deep with-in my heart. There is a quote from President Hinckley that I love...

Oh my goodness Anavon! Reading your Dad's quote sent chills up my spine. What an amazing way to look at serving our country. I am so grateful for the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us and to all the men and women that serve in our Armed Forces.
