WOYWW#265 - On the MOVE!
Between the pending hurricane (on stand by with Red Cross) and the Holiday, my workspace became very mobile today. I am working on some July Birthday Cards, so you would normally find my desk filled with lots of RED, WHITE & BLUE!
My cards are a couple that I cased from an awesome card I found on pinterest posted "Crafty Creations by Beth"

Parker's Pumpkns - 2009
I had the pleasure of scraplifting Ann (scrappy48) this month and the page I choose was SBSC290 Girl Scouts (http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...48?&cat=25168).
My page turned out more of a layout inspired by all her bold shapes and
journaling than an actual scraplift. She had so many pages to choose
from it was hard to decide... :)

June Progressive #2
for our second week of the June challenge, she says it's easy peasy!
Well for me, the digi world is still a challenge, I couldn't even figure
out how to slant my photo. :) But HEY! I am attempting to try this digi
thing again...TASK 2:
1. Add a 3/4” – 1” ribbon across the full width of the page. It will go over the rectangular strip and about 6” down.
2. Add 4 framed photos in the center of page—2 on top, 2 beneath, creating a box-like effect.
3. Tip one of the photos slightly.
That's it for this week!

Just A Pinch of Salt...
At Splitcoast Stampers we started a new Challenge thread entitled "It All Happened In... JUNE!"
Each month this challenge will change, based on the month, to inspire us to celebrate the Month we're in by getting out those pictures for that month, this month it is June....whether we use current, last year or some years ago photos, our goal is to get the month of Scrapped.
This month I choose to have fun on National Donut Day. We celebrated the day with homemade Salted Caramel Donuts.
The second page of the recipe on my layout reads...

June Progressive #1
This challenge will use 4 photos.
- Start with a 12” base paper—this should be a solid or patterned paper, although only a small amount of pattern will show. [A color darker than paper in step “2” is suggested.]
- Add a paper on top that is approx. 11” (or if using a different size than 12x12, make this layer ½” smaller on all four sides.) [A color lighter than base paper and not too busy is suggested.] Add shadow.
- About 5”down from page top and approx. 2” from left edge, place a piece of paper that is approx. 8-8 ½’ w. x 3” h. (plain or patterned ). Add shadow.

WOYWW ~ 259
Mother's Day surprises:
Last week, I was not at my desk because our oldest son flew in on Tuesday for a belated Mother's Day and we spent Wednesday making cheese together. If you would like to check out the photos of fun we had, you can find them on my food blog at The Pantry Life
My Inside Craft Desk:
Today, my inside craft desk is cluttered with scraps left over from my two day online scrapbook class. The class was entitled "Scrapbook Your Story" by Lain Ehmann on Creative Live. Great class, I sort of went into it thinking that because I have scrapbooked for over 30 years, I probably won't learn anything new, but it turned out to be a very informational and mojo building class.
My New Outdoor Crafting Place:
I live at the beach and love to work outside where I can watch and hear the ocean. This past weekend we created a spot on my front porch where I can craft, relax and play with flowers. On a sad note... The flower arrangements came before the crafting this week. The flowers that are included in the photo are some of the bouquets that were for the funeral of a dear friend of mine who lost her battle to cancer over the weekend and her "celebration of life" was today.Hanging out with all of us:

WOYWW#257
As you can see my desk is piled high today... This is due to the fact that everything from my VSN & VSBN weekend got moved from the table to my desk. I do have a plan and idea for a few things I want to make today. I am hoping that my layout and card stock is here on my desk somewhere, but I have to go grout the new tile in my bathroom first... We are in the middle of a remodel. :(
Okay, Tile done... Now to play!
So here are the items I got completed, the card is for my son... it is his 21st Birthday today. Today, I want to play with basic black, Tempting Tourquiouse and White. I found a really cool card on Pinterest that I really wanted like to CASE and I have another VSBN layout I am working on.
